Our Lodge

The GREEN LODGE was inaugurated in 1995 and is one of the few jungle lodges that practice the real sustainable tourism in the Brazilian Biomes of the Amazon Rainforest. Situated in one of the best tributaries of the Rio Negro (Jacareubal) 65 Km. west of Manaus, is surrounded by majestyc primary rain forest and beautiful landscapes. Here you will not find the luxury that other lodges offer, but instead you will certainly find the authentic feeling of being in the amazon rain forest and the real adventure spirit.

The GREEN LODGE was designed to move and change to diferent rivers or lakes depending on the water level, which may rise up to 8 meters in flooded season, bringing you to the best spots for wildlife observation. Compaired to the other lodges, we have the advantage to move around rather than stay only in one place.

Accommodations

In our lodge you will find two areas for accommodations, rooms and hammocks. If your choice is to sleep in beds we have 14 self contained rooms with toilet and shower each, single and double beds, but if you want to overnight as our local people, a confortable hammock is waiting for you. Also if you prefere to spend the night even more confortable we can offer 5 self contained bungalows with toilet, shower and air condition each, 15 minutes away from the main floating lodge on land.
