NATIVE CABANA

Was inaugurated in 2002. Situated in Mamori Lake - Juma area, 90 km. south of Manaus, from here we invite you to have your (first) jungle experience, study your specific interest in flora and fauna and get acquainted with the way of life of the local people. Wake up to the sounds of howler monkeys. spend the day walking jungle trails and paddling around oxbow lakes with colorful macaws flying overhead.

Accommodations

You will find two areas for accommodations, rooms and hammocks. If your choice is to sleep in beds we have self contained rooms, single, double and triple beds and area for hammocks.

Important Notes

All excursions leave by wooden canoe from the main deck. Most of the excursions are done in paddle canoes for 7 guests only. We welcome your active participationship in order to not disturb the nearby wildlife!

2 days and 1 night

1st. Day ? Pick up at the lobby of your hotel 08:30 a.m. then travel by car to the port of Ceasa which is 12 km. from Manaus.
Departure from this port by fast boat passing through the meeting of the waters to Careiro village, then travel by regional bus to the Ara?a village which is 70 km. south of Manaus. There will be a boat to take you to the NATIVE CABANA which is located at 90 km. from Manaus

? 2:00 p.m. Reception, accommodation (NATIVE CABANA). Lunch.
? Reconnaissence tour by canoe.
? Piranha fishing.
? Alligator spotting.
? Dinner.

2nd. Day

? 7:30 a.m. Breakfast.
? 9:00 a.m. Jungle trek.
? 1:30 p.m. Lunch.

(Return to Manaus, arriving aproximately at 6:30 p.m.).

3 days and 2 nights

? 1:30 p.m. Lunch (Return to Manaus, arriving aproximately at 6:30 p.m.).

? Exploration: Jurar? river and Tucunar? lake.
? Camping in the jungle or sleeping with native families in hammocks,
spear fishing and more jungle hiking.
